Kody is a born and raised Utah local.  His upbringing in Cedar city and Newcastle with a family of blue-collar workers gave him the opportunity to develop a work ethic that would serve him well moving into the workforce.  With big dreams on owning his own company someday he was very eager to get going.  Adamant to accomplish these goals, he graduated early and started working in construction at 17.  After 6 years of gaining experience in the field he would launch this company in 2021.

     Though Kody knew he would pursue construction and worked a number of different jobs in this field, his interest in welding specifically was sparked at a young age when completing his first weld on the farm with baling wire and a torch.  Fascinated by the science of welding would lead him to take welding classes in high school as well as completing the program at SWATC.  Once he started his first job as a fabricator, he realized his talent went beyond "laying down pretty welds".  His eye for detail and vision of the project at hand are what set him apart.  Often times, Kody would be accused by his co-workers for "reading the boss's mind" because Kody knew what he was trying to explain before he finished saying it.  As a perfectionist, everything he does is going to be as close to perfect as it can be.  Ironhorse Welding and Design is here to deliver!
